Meet "Dr. H"
Eric Hirschfeld, DDS
Dr. Hirschfeld graduated from New York University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Thereafter, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University in 1982 graduating in the first quartile. He then did a one year residency in general dentistry at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. This was followed by a one year senior residency in Dental and Oral Surgery at the Brookdale Hospital Medical Center. His formal training was completed at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he did a one year residency in anesthesiology.
Upon completion of his post-doctoral training, Dr. Hirschfeld maintained teaching positions as an Attending Dentist at The Mount Sinai Medical Center, Clinical Instructor at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and was appointed as an Associate Clinical Professor of Oral Medicine (Pain Control) at the New York University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Hirschfeld relocated to Northern New England in 1988, and opened the office in Conway, New Hampshire in 1990.
Dr. Hirschfeld is a currently a diplomate of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology; Director of the New Hampshire Dentist Well Being Committee; Affiliate Staff member of The Memorial Hospital, and on the Board of Directors of the New Hampshire Professional Health Program . In addition, he serves as a Clinical Research Associate for The Bluestone Center for Clinical Research at New York University.
Dr. Hirschfeld's special interests are in the field of oral surgery and has been placing dental implants since 2005.
Recreationally, Dr. Hirschfeld enjoys photography, hiking, and music. He also enjoys movies and travel.
